At the meeting on Nov. 19, current School District 51 Board of Education members Harry Butler and Leslie Keisler were sworn in for a second term and new Board member (pictured left) Greg Mikolai began his first term.

Harry Butler was appointed Board President and Cindy Enos-Martinez will serve as Board Vice President.

The annual R-5 Ski Swap will be held Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Lincoln Park Barn. Admission is $1 per person. Children 12 and under are free.

There will be many vendors there with deeply discounted skis, snowboards, boots, bindings and clothing for your winter outdoor recreation needs. This is the best place to shop for the 2009-2010 ski season!
